MOUNT VERNON — Drawings for a proposed new office building for the Knox County Engineer’s office were shared with the Knox County Board of Commissioners on Thursday morning. Sharing details of the drawings was John Meegan, managing architect with MKC Associates Inc., while in attendance were engineer’s office assistants Larry Bechtel and Clint Cochran. Bechtel said the current 800 square-foot building was built in the 1950s and contains five desks with no separate offices.
