MOUNT VERNON — Mount Vernon City Council is expected to hear a second reading on a piece of legislation that will provide an easement for the new hotel on Public Square, if adopted.

This Deschutes Brewery truck parked at the dock of the Mount Vernon News on Friday in order to deliver beverages to The Alcove Restaurant. The driver told the News he used to access Blackberry Alley at Public Square to make the delivery, but was unable to because of construction.
