MOUNT VERNON — Bond was set in Knox County Court of Common Pleas on Wednesday morning for five individuals arrested earlier this week in the 12-person, drug trafficking investigation conducted by detectives at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

Appearing before Judge Otho Eyster were Terry Jacobs, Christopher Matheson, Joey Howard, Brent Turner and Teresa Manuel, all charged with multiple counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs. Jacobs and Matheson were also charged with first-degree felonies of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.
