MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Health Department celebrated its ninth annual Partners in Public Health awards Thursday morning with a light breakfast and awards presentations. Julie Miller, health commissioner, and Pam Palm, director of health promotions, awarded four area recipients, noting their experience, contributions and hard work and community involvement.
