MOUNT VERNON — Two suspects wanted for the death of a woman and the assault of her home health aide have been apprehended.

Mount Vernon Police Department captured Tyrone Caldwell, 34, near Sychar Road at about 10:45 this morning.
Zachery Dunlap, 36, was also taking into custody, although details of his capture were unknown at press time.
Mount Vernon Police Interim Chief Capt. George Hartz told the News a Caldwell was seen leaving the Beech Street apartment where the incident occurred. The 911 call, he said, came in at about 8:10 a.m.
Hartz would not release the names of the victims or the cause of death. The home health aide, is being treated at Knox Community Hospital.
Pleasant Street, Dan Emmett Elementary and Northgate Head Start schools where placed on lockdown during the search for the suspects. The lockdown was lifted at 11 a.m.
At this time, Hartz said the MVPD is not aware of any connection between the suspects and the victims.
