MOUNT VERNON — The rain that came through Knox County on Monday has pushed back the slate of high school baseball and softball games.

The Mount Vernon Yellow Jackets, who were scheduled to host Franklin Heights in both sports, will now play today. Both games are at home. The baseball game starts at 5 p.m., while softball begins at 5:15.

East Knox, which was scheduled to host Loudonville in baseball and softball, will now do so Wednesday. Both games are slated to start at 5 p.m.

The Fredericktown home baseball game against Northmor that was scheduled for Monday will be made up on Friday, May 9, at 5 p.m. at Fredericktown.

All other games will be made up at a date yet to be determined.
