CENTERBURG — Memorial Park has been central to the Centerburg community and southwest Knox County for more than seven decades, and Village Council reaffirmed support for management of the facility by a beleaguered Centerburg Joint Recreation District Monday evening. Council agreed unanimously to issue a resolution recommending support of a five-year tax levy the CJRD will place on the May 6 primary election ballot.
