MOUNT VERNON — According to documents sent to the News on Tuesday by Knox County’s prevention and loss/human resources coordinator, Emily Marth, the county dog warden has received training since his employment in the position on Nov. 4, 2013. The News reported on Monday that the current, and former, dog warden received no training. The article was written based on information the News received from Knox County Dog Warden Jordan Barnard after submitting a public records request asking for “Documents related to training for paid Animal Shelter staff for years 2012, 2013 and 2014.”
