MOUNT VERNON — An ordinance allowing amendments and establishing a new set of storm water regulations was brought to Mount Vernon City Council during regular session Monday evening. Council member Sam Barone introduced the ordinance in a utilities committee meeting prior to the regular council meeting

City Engineer Cameron Keaton explained that the 58-page document describes a set of unfunded mandates which the city must adhere to.
