MOUNT VERNON — A gathering in front of the soon-to-be-demolished Curtis Inn, members of Mount Vernon City Council, city officials and interested citizens viewed a drawing of the proposed diagram of a proposed portico on the north end the new hotel. A submitted drawing of a proposed portico in the News last week prompted questions as concern was expressed about the possible interference this might cause with Public Square traffic.
