MOUNT VERNON — U.S. Congressman Bob Gibbs of the 7th Congressional District Gibbs stopped at the News on Friday afternoon to give a brief roundup of current legislation he is working on in Congress.

Gibbs classifies the work addressed by Congress as either a micro issue or a macro issue. Macro issues are large and encompassing in nature, such as tax reform, budgets and appropriation bills. Micro issues are smaller-scale, those which may be dealt with in specific committees.
