MOUNT VERNON — The fifth annual Knox County Goat Improvement Association banquet was held Saturday evening at the First Congregational United Church of Christ. Bill Belton, president, welcomed attendees and invited guests to a meal prepared by Amy Yauger-Loeschke and Alex Loeschke, which included a mixed green salad and shepherds pie, with ground goat meat and dessert.
