HOWARD — Six members of the East Knox chapter of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America are headed to state competition in April. Michaela Lowe, Jessica Miller, Nick Beckett, Alissa Allman, Justin Jacobs and Jessyca Gonsalves earned the state berth as a result of their performance at the regional contest at C-TEC in Newark on March 1.

Club adviser Kryssi Faull told the school board at its meeting on Monday that FCCLA at East Knox has been working all year to make a difference within their school and community.
