As they turned off the road, Finnell said she noticed a car off of the left hand side of the road, which appeared to be broken down. As they got closer to the vehicle, Finnell said she saw the hazard lights come on and she noticed that there was significant damage to the vehicle.

“We pulled up alongside and an older gentleman, from what I could see, the airbags were out. There was a car further down the hill … there had been an accident and it looked like they had been in a head-on collision,” Finnell said.
