MOUNT VERNON — Residents at The Ohio Eastern Star Home donated homemade quilts to CareNet Pregnancy Services of Knox County during a chapel service at OES on Wednesday afternoon.

Activities director Janet Gantt worked with 10 to 12 residents at OES to trace around quilt templates, and help to cut and lay out the materials for the quilts. Once preparations were complete, Gantt sewed a total of four quilts together to donate to Care Net Pregnancy Services.
