HILLIARD — Very few people expected the Fredericktown Freddies to hang with the Bishop Hartley Hawks in Tuesday’s district semifinal.

Someone forgot to tell the Freddies.

For three quarters, Fredericktown played as well as anyone had against the top-seeded team in the Central District. However, the game got away in the fourth quarter, and Hartley went on to a 65-47 victory at Hilliard Davidson High School.
