COLUMBUS — Both Matthew Lybarger and Carson Mills had something to prove heading in to the state wrestling tournament.

Lybarger, a senior from Mount Vernon, had been to the state tournament twice before but was looking for his first chance to stand on the podium as a top wrestler in the state.

Mills, a junior from Fredericktown, was out to prove he belonged in his first trip to Ohio State’s Schottenstein Center.

Mission accomplished for both.
