MOUNT VERNON — A pair of Mount Vernon Yellow Jackets received top honors as the All-Ohio Capital Conference teams were announced.

Alex Arck was named First Team All-OCC by a panel of coaches. Arck led Mount Vernon with 14.8 points per game and averaged 4.2 rebounds per game. He hit more than 37 percent (40-for-106) from beyond the arc.

For the girls, Sierra Basista was named First Team All-OCC. The senior led the Jackets with 12.0 points and 4.2 assists per game. She shot 38 percent (35-for-92) from 3-point range and hit 70 percent (42-for-60) from the free-throw line. Basista was also awarded one of five OCC Scholar Athlete awards.
