FREDERICKTOWN — When it was crunch time, the Fredericktown Freddies made it count.

The Fredericktown boys basketball team was locked in a tie with the Northridge Vikings with five minutes to go.

The Freddies responded with a 10-2 run to pull away from the Vikings and win, 61-53, in Saturday’s Division III sectional semifinal at Fredericktown.
