MOUNT VERNON — From a lively opening dance to the traditional Friday Night Fun Finale featuring host fathers, the Distinguished Young Women of Ohio program was a showcase of talent, poise, fitness and fun. The night was the perfect kickoff as 26 exceptional young women from around Ohio put their best foot forward in the quest to win scholarship money and represent Ohio in the national DYW competition in June.
Julia Shappert, Distinguished Young Woman of Ohio for 2013, also returned to Memorial Theater for the show.
