MOUNT VERNON — Members of Soroptimists International of Mount Vernon and Knox County were pleased to host Distinguished Young Women participants and their host mothers for a luncheon at the Alcove on Thursday. An international volunteer service organization, Soroptimists work to improve the lives of women and girls locally and around the globe.
