MOUNT VERNON — All 26 Distinguished Young Women of Ohio participants joined together Thursday morning at New Hope Head Start to participate in their community service project for the program. The groups were supposed to be divided into two groups, purple and pink, on Tuesday and two groups, blue and yellow, on Thursday, but due to inclement weather the four were merged together.
