MOUNT VERNON — Contestants for the 2014 Distinguished Young Women of Ohio gathered together for a luncheon Wednesday afternoon at The Living Center. Twenty-six young women intermingled with residents of the center while enjoying a meal, enchanting music and good conversation.
Joan Levering, manager of The Living Center, welcomed guests into dining room decorated for St. Patrick’s Day, wishing all the young ladies a hint of good Irish luck, and encouraged them to spread a little love, since it’s still February.
