FREDERICKTOWN — The Freddie stadium bleachers are coming down, school superintendent Matt Chrispin announced at Tuesday’s school board meeting. He told the News on Thursday the board agreed to dismantle the structures after they failed 18 out of 21 points in an inspection conducted this past fall. “As soon as weather permits,” he added, “volunteers will deconstruct the stadium bleachers on both the home and visitors’ sides. The district and the athletic booster group are still trying to raise funds for the project.”
