ST. LOUISVILLE — Sharon A. (Drake) Meehan, 68, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at Licking Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 5, 1945, to Bill and Dorothy (Rinebolt) Drake. She was a dispatcher with the Licking County Sheriff’s Office for many years, and owned and operated John Michael’s Tavern in Danville for more than 15 years. She also belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 85.
Sharon is survived by her brothers, Reggie Drake of Howard, Ronnie Drake of Millwood and Robert (Christie) Drake of Wooster; and her neighbor and close friend, May McCoy of St. Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, John Michael Meehan; a daughter, Kristina R. Meehan; brothers, Larry and Randall S. Drake; and sisters-in-law, Wilma and Thelma Drake.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, at 11 a.m., at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. Pastor Ron Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Workman Cemetery.
