MOUNT VERNON — Amanda Sue Hagans, 26, of Johnstown Road, Mount Vernon, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born July 10, 1987, to George and Kimberly (Seavolt) Hagans. Amanda worked at New Hope Industries. She enjoyed horseback riding, four wheeling and motorcycle riding with her dad. She loved animals. But most of all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends.

Amanda is survived by her parents, George and Kimberly Hagans of Mount Vernon; her brother, Shad (Brittney) Hagans of Blacklick; her sister, April Turjanica of Blacklick; her maternal grandparents, Karen (Dale) Gerrard of Gambier; and her paternal grandmother, June Hagans of Centerburg.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Paul Seavolt and her paternal grandfather, George Hagans.

Friends may call Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m., at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home. The service will be held Wednesday, at the funeral home, beginning at 11 a.m., with Pastor Mark Glenn officiating.
