MOUNT VERNON — Sharon Kay Gault, 65, of E. Gambier Street, Mount Vernon, passed away Friday, March 21, 2014, at the Med Central Hospital in Mansfield.

Sharon was born July 6, 1948, in Mount Vernon, to the late Lewis and Lorraine (McGuinly) Hoar. She was a member of the V.F.W. in Mount Vernon, the AMVETS Auxilary, and the Ladies of the Moose.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Gault; her son, Jason (Crystal) Gault; her daughter, Mari (Rick) Young; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her brother, Lewis Hoar; her sister, Roxanne Cline; and her sister-in-law, Nova Hoar.

Besides her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brothers, James and Kenneth Hoar; and her sister, Mary Hoar.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Friday, beginning at 1 p.m., in Ebenezer Cemetery with Pastor Jack Dearth officiating.
