FREDERICKTOWN — Betty L. Watson, 84, of Fredericktown, died Friday, March 14, 2014, at her home. She was born Nov. 5, 1929, in Virginia.

Before retirement, Betty was a nurse’s aide for various nursing homes in the area. She was a past member of the Knox Chapter 236 of the Order of Eastern Star.

Betty is survived by her sons, George (Rhonda) Watson of Fredericktown and Jim (Connie) Watson of Edison; daughter, Debra Love of Palaskyville; four grandchildren; and brother, Robert Monk of Virginia Beach, Va.

Betty was preceded in death by three sisters.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, from noon until the time of a funeral service at 2 p.m., at the Snyder Funeral Home, 33 East College St., Fredericktown. Inurnment will be Wednesday, at 1 p.m., in Brandon Cemetery near Mount Vernon.
