UTICA — A mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday, at 10 a.m., at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church 303 E. High St., Mount Vernon, with Fr. Mark Hammond as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Louis Cemetery, 303 S. Chapel St., Louisville, Ohio.
Katie, 81, of Utica, died suddenly March 14, 2014, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born May 26, 1932, in Louisville, to the late Alfred (Happy) and Margaret A. (Schumacher) Paumier.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Mount Vernon. She worked at the Miller Co. in Utica for 22 1/2 years and retired from G.E. Co. in Worthington, Ohio after 15 years.
She is survived by her sister, Thelma Andrie of Louisville; brother and sister-in-law, Hubert “Mix” and Kay Paumier of North Benton, Ohio; niece, Linda Hostetler of Canton, Ohio; and nephew, Ted Ferguson of Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Russell Paumier.
Friends may call Monday, from 3-7 p.m., with a Vigil at 7 p.m., at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N Main St., Utica. Friends may also call Tuesday, from 9-10 a.m., prior to the funeral mass at the church.
