MOUNT VERNON — Mary G. Lonsinger, 90, of Mount Vernon, died Thursday afternoon, Feb. 13, 2014, at her home. She was born Jan. 3, 1924, in Coshocton; daughter of the late Roy and Nellie (Wright) Darr.
Mary had worked for the Curtis Hotel in Mount Vernon, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Mary is survived by her grandchildren, Jason (Judelle) Lonsinger of Newcastle, Heather (Scott) Bemiller of Fredericktown and Dakota (Brittany) Lonsinger of Mount Vernon; great-grandchildren, Travis Lonsinger, Kirsten Allnut, Jayden Lonsinger, Charles Lonsinger, Brady Bemiller and Cameron Bemiller; and a brother, Harold (Edith) Darr of Winchester, Ky.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Lonsinger; son, Ernest Lonsinger; and brothers, Ralph Darr and Kenneth Darr.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, from noon until the funeral service at 2 p.m., at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 E. High St., Mount Vernon, with Pastor Stan Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in Mound View Cemetery.
