UTICA — A funeral service for Kenneth E. Campbell, 83, of Utica, will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, at Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica, with Pastor Tim Overly officiating. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Kenneth died Jan. 28, 2014, at the Laurels of Mount Vernon. He was born May 22, 1930, in Shiloh to the late Andrew and Elizabeth Campbell.

Kenneth retired from Newark Air Force Base.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ron D. and Debbie A. Campbell of Apple Valley; grandchildren, Heather and Jason Brokaw of St. Louisville, Jennifer and Travis Dutiel of Heath, and Jason and Jen Campbell of Newark; stepgranddaughter, Billie Jo and Shawn Swihart of Bellville; and nine great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Plumah A. (Baker) Campbell who passed away Dec. 21, 2005; son, Scott Eugene Campbell; and daughter, Jerry Ann Campbell.
