MOUNT VERNON — Marilyn J. Monteith, 70, of Mount Vernon, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at her home. She was born Dec. 16, 1943, in Glen Ridge, N.J., to C.B. and Bertha (Wilson) Bunch.
Marilyn was in customer service and a member of several organizations; including Rolling Thunder, Knox County Veterans Advocacy Committee and the Ohio Quarter Horse Association. She was a Catholic by faith.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Charles (Sharon) Monteith of Hebron, Scott Greene of Mount Vernon, Tammie McGowan of Richlands, N.C., and David Monteith of Mount Vernon; five grandchildren; and brothers, Charles Bunch of Calif. and David Bunch of Ariz.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by a son, Terry Greene; and a grandson, Scott Anthony.
The family will have a memorial service celebrating the life of Marilyn at a later date.
