FREDERICKTOWN — Johnathan W. Puckett, 36, of Fredericktown, formerly of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014. He was born July 28, 1977, in Sandusky, Ohio, to Robert and Rhonda (Poling) Puckett. Johnathan was an electrician and worked for Claypool Electric in Lancaster.

He was an avid Ohio State football fan, loved to golf, hang out with his friends, but most of all he loved being around his family.

He is survived by his wife Martha; three daughters, Jazmine, Janessa and Mckanzie Puckett; a son, Mason Goodman; a brother, Chris Puckett; a sister, Heather (Mike) Johnson; and two nephews, Dalton and Nolan Laird.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, with a funeral service starting at 2 p.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home; 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, OH 43050. A committal service will take place in Port Clinton, Ohio, at Sackett Cemetery on Thursday at 1 p.m.
