MOUNT VERNON — Graham E. Richardson, of Mount Vernon, left his family and friends Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013, after a long battle with cancer. He was born to Leck Graham and Beulah I. (Hess) Richardson of Swords Creek, Va.

He enjoyed his dogs, Twix and Buckeye. He was a big fan of OSU and NASCAR. Graham was a big collector of model motorcycles and cars. He was an outdoorsman, loving his camping and many back road car rides with windows down and classic rock playing on the radio.

He is survived by his companion and best friend, Joan Carpenter of Mount Vernon; his three children, son, Christopher and daughters, Christal and Amber; seven grandchildren; sister, Vera Crunkilton of North Liberty; and brother, Raymond “Spanky” Richardson of Vanceburg, Ky.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, two brothers and two grandbabies.

The family would like to thank everyone for all they did to make him happy and those who took care of him, Hospice Nurses, but most of all Tia Cooley, Tammy Cordray, Joan and her family.

The family will observe a private service at a later date.

Private condolences may be made to the family by visiting www.snyderfuneralhomes.com.

The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Graham E. Richardson.
