MOUNT VERNON — Nadene McCullough, 77, of Mount Vernon, passed away Dec. 7, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

She was born March 21, 1936, in Robinson, Ill., to the late Forrest C. and Oneida (Highsmith) Parker. Nadene had previously worked for The Milk House, the former Sears and Roebuck Co. on Gambier Street, a nursing aid with Country Court Nursing Home and also with Hoover Universal.

Nadene is survived by her husband, Cecil; four children, Deborah (David) Barber of Fredericktown, Wesley (LeAnn) Park of Australia, Christopher Park of South Carolina and Charles Park of Chillicothe; three stepchildren, John (Lori) Shults of Danville, Kenneth McCullough of Mount Vernon and Stephen McCullough of Cardington; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Vaughn Parker; and two sisters Mary Keolla and Norma Twigg; an infant sister, Esther Marie Parker; granddaughter, Michaela Silliman; and a great-grandson, Kyle Ayers.

Friends may call Wednesday, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Family will observe private burial in Liberty Chapel Cemetery.
