GAMBIER — Danny Frazee, 53, of Gambier, was embraced by a heavenly host surrounded by family and loved ones after an extended illness on Dec. 3, 2013, at Country Court Nursing Home.

He was born Oct. 13, 1960, in Mount Vernon. Danny was a U.S. Navy veteran and was a carpenter with The Carpenter’s Sons. Both he and his wife, Colleen, were foster parents with the Village Network in Mount Vernon.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Colleen (Kent) Frazee; a daughter, Danielle Frazee, and a son, Nathan Frazee, both of Gambier; his mother, Mary Ellen Frazee of Mount Vernon; sister, Ronda Frazee of Mount Vernon; a brother, Randy (Angela) Frazee of Walhonding; brothers-in-law, Ed (Diane) Kent and Ric (Leisa) Kent, both of Warsaw, and Larry (Michelle) Kent of New Concord; stepfather-in-law, Jim (Zera) Reigle of West Lafayette; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and his extended family, Thorney (Julie) Kirk of Howard, Christian Gathering and The Carpenter’s Sons.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Paul Frazee; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Reigle; and father-in-law, Don Kent.

The family will observe a private memorial service. The Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon is handling the arrangements for the Frazee family.
