COSHOCTON — Patricia Grace Addy, 72, of Coshocton, joined her beloved husband, Lorin, at 10:50 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at The Laurels of Mount Vernon.
Born March 10, 1941, in Mount Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Sarah (Johnson) Grubaugh. A graduate of Mount Vernon High School, she was a cook at Jerry’s Restaurant in Coshocton for over 37 years.
On Oct. 17, 1968, she married Lorin Glenn Addy, who preceded her in death March 24, 1990.
Patty will be remembered for her love of cats. She offered a home and food for any stray cat that passed her way.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara (Larry) Wilkin of Coshocton; two stepsons; four brothers, James, Andy, Stanley and Bob Grubaugh; a sister, Judy (David) Starner; an aunt, Grace Lahmon; and several nieces and nephews, all of Mount Vernon.
Patricia was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Grubaugh; and two sisters, Audrey Martin and Ethel Hines.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton, with Pastor Chris Cutshall officiating. Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the services at Free Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memoriums may be made in Patricia’s memory to the Coshocton County Animal Shelter, 21755 Township Road 164, Morgan Run Road, Coshocton, OH 43812; or Four Paws, 504 Main St., Coshocton, OH 43812.
