UTICA — Calling hours for Ira Rowley, 81, of Utica, will be held 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, at Law-Baker Funeral Home with the funeral service at 11 a.m. Bruce Hissong will officiate. Burial will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
Ira died Oct. 15, 2013, at Arlington Care Center, Newark. He was born April 20, 1932, in Martinsburg, to the late Armor and Viola (Melick) Rowley. Ira farmed all his life.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Mary Lou Rowley of Johnstown, and Richard and Beth Ann Rowley of Croton; sister, Betty of Loudonville; many nieces and nephews; and special nieces, Mitzi and Amanda Metzger of Johnstown.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Russell Rowley.
