MOUNT VERNON — Thomas J. Campbell, 64, of Martinsburg Road, Mount Vernon, passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at Kindred Hospital in Mansfield, Ohio.
He was born May 21, 1949, to the late Henry and Mary Jane (Goossens) Campbell and had lived his entire life on the family farm in Mount Vernon. Tom was a 1967 graduate of Mount Vernon High School. He retired as a painter with Chattanooga Glass Co. Tom was a member of the Quarter Horse Congress Association, NRA and the Bow Hunters Club in Gambier. He had previously served as a 4-H advisor and belonged to FFA.
He is survived by two brothers, Raymond (Kathy) Campbell and John Campbell, both of Mount Vernon; and a foster brother, Paul Emlich of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will observe a private service. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Thomas J. Campbell.
