MOUNT VERNON — Carrie Murphy-Wilson, 35, of Mount Vernon, passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening, Sept. 5, 2013, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born May 18, 1978, in Mount Vernon, daughter of Roger and Stephanie (Murphy) Woodring of Mount Vernon.
In addition to her parents, Carrie is survived by her children, Troy Clendenen and Daphne Eshelman of Mount Vernon; husband, Scott Wilson of Mount Vernon; brother, Eric Woodring of Mount Vernon; and maternal grandmother, Marjorie Whited of Mount Vernon.
Carrie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Paula Woodring; and maternal grandfather, Floyd Murphy Sr.; and a cousin, Kayla Levings.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 p.m. until the time of a funeral service at 7 p.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon. A private burial will take place at a later date.
