MOUNT VERNON — Daniel J. Bunn of Mount Vernon died Jan. 3, 2013. He was a missionary with New Tribes Mission in Bolivia, South America, for 25 years.
Daniel leaves his beloved wife, Karen; his son, Peter, and wife Sara, along with grandson, Jesse; his son, Andrew, and wife, Robin, along with grandson, Noah, and a daughter, Erika, all of Richmond. He also leaves a brother, David of Seattle; a sister, Lois, and her husband, Harry, of Houston, Texas; a sister, Ella, a sister, Claudia, as well as his beloved mother, Mary Elaine, all of Houston, Texas. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He is survived by his father-in-law, Gary Locy, and his wife, Jenny, of New Brighton, Pa.; and his brother-in-law, Larry Locy of Columbus, Ohio.
He is predeceased by his father, Richard Bunn; his mother-in-law, Mary Alice Locy; and his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Locy.
Viewing will be held at Bliley’s Funeral Home, 6900 Hull Street Road, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m..
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Kingsland Baptist Church, 8801 Perrymont Road, Richmond, VA 23237, with Pastor Fred Gray presiding. A memorial Spanish service will be held at Kingsland Baptist Church on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., with Pastor Fernando Mangieri presiding.
