MOUNT VERNON — Lynda (Statler) Heinlein, 59, of E. Burgess Street, Mount Vernon, passed away Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 1, 1953, in Mount Vernon, to M. Robert and Lola (Workman) Statler Jr.
Lynda fought a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis for over 20 years. She is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior, whom she loved and served all of her life. Lynda was a person so full of grace and humility. She loved a family get together and spending time with her two sons. Her time spent with her church family brought her so much joy. Family and friends will truly miss her.
She is survived by her father; two sons, Kyle Heinlein of Atlanta, Ga., and Robert Heinlein of Arlington, Texas; two brothers, Gary (Nancy) Statler of Springfield, and Dale (Rhonda) Statler of Mount Vernon; several nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, 303 S. Edgewood Drive, Mount Vernon, OH 43050 where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
