BUTLER — Carol Lynn Huddle, 65, of Butler passed away Friday evening, Nov. 16, 2012, in her home following her declining health condition.

Her faith now sight, Carol is free from worldly hurts enjoying her eternal heavenly reward.

She was born Sept. 12, 1947, in Mansfield, to Paul Clifford and Effie Jane Essig (Varner) Huddle, and was among the first class to graduate from Clear Fork High School. Carol worked locally as an agent for Cinnamon Lake and Candlewood Lake properties as a real estate assistant. She also worked as a paralegal secretary in Baltimore, Md., for Attorney Danamon. Her heart never left the family farm, and Carol returned there to help her father in his later days. Carol was a lifelong devoted Christian and attended Clear Fork Alliance Church. Her kindness as a Christian woman was evident in her kindness toward others.

Extremely creative, Carol could literally “create something from nothing” with a special flair for interior decorating. She was also a talented cook, her dishes prepared for family gatherings were never the cookie cutter type casseroles.

Blessed with compassion, Carol dearly loved her pets which included two dogs and several cats.

She is survived by her siblings, the Rev. Raymond (Edna) Huddle in Vero Beach, Fla., Dr. Eugene Wesley Huddle (Jane Hammond) in Oro Valley, Ariz., Dr. John (Annabelle) Huddle in Mount Vernon and Martha (Jim) Denny in Hayesville; along with many nieces and nephews whom she cherished.

Carol was preceded in death by both of her parents; and a niece, Lorena Lynn Huddle.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
