CROTON — A. Frank Clever, 92 of Croton died Jan. 25, 2012, at Willowbrook Village, Delaware.

He was born June 21, 1919, in Mansfield, to the late Leland and Ella (Fisher) Clever. He had a lifelong passion for farming and seed development. In 2000, he was selected to the Licking County Farmer Hall of Fame.

Surviving are children, Dr. Art (Lynn) Clever, Dianne (Harve) Reesen, Jim (Carol) Clever; stepchildren, Gary (Sharon) Glenn, Nancy (Tim) Decker; 11 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, one stepgreat-grandson; sister, Frances Kuhn.

Preceded in death by first wife, F. Jean (Cossum); second wife, Lillian Marie Glenn.

Visitation will be Sunday, 2-5 p.m., DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, Sunbury. Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Croton United Methodist Church, 75 N. High St., Croton. Pastor Eva M. Wolfe officiating. Burial in Hartford Cemetery, Croton. Full obituary may be viewed at
