MOUNT VERNON — Mary Margaret Franz Hostetler, 90, of Mount Vernon died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at the Country Court Nursing Center in Mount Vernon.

Mary was born June 9, 1920, in Moorfield, Ohio, to Elmer and Ruth Ann (Wallace) Robinson and had been a resident of Mount Vernon since 1939. She had been employed as a nurses aide at the Ohio Eastern Star Home at Mount Vernon for several years. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon.

Surviving are her son, Jerry D. (Deloris) Franz of Mount Vernon; her daughter, Joyce Louise (C. Lewis) Ferguson of Mount Vernon; stepdaughter, DeDe (Hank) Antill of Mount Vernon; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her sister, Louise LaBenne of Mount Vernon.

Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Dean Franz; her second husband, Dennis Hostetler; two brothers and two sisters.

Private graveside service will be held in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
