Michael D. Davis
MOUNT VERNON — Michael D. Davis, 46, of Mount Vernon passed away Aug. 23, 2007, at MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield.

He was born Nov. 13, 1960, in Mount Vernon to Dale and Delores (Farley) Davis. Dale worked for Ohio Fresh Egg Farm for over 20 years. He enjoyed his children and his grandchildren. He also was an avid watcher of dirt track racing and loved going to the race track.

He is survived by a son, Jonathon Chadwick of Bladensburg; two daughters, Lacey Chadwick of Gambier and Lindsey Griffith-Davis of Mount Vernon; his longtime companion, Nancy Burch of Mount Vernon; a brother, Frank Davis of Mount Vernon; two sisters, Pam O’Byrne of Alabama and Ethel Davis of Mount Vernon; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no calling hours. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Liberty Chapel Cemetery with Mr. Gary Stevens officiating. The North-Dilley Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is in charge of the arrangements.

Ernest Lloyd
HOWARD — Ernest Lloyd of Howard passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.

Arrangements are pending with the Snyder Funeral Homes in Mount Vernon.

Wilma G. Needles
MOUNT VERNON — Wilma G. Needles, 78, of Mount Vernon passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2007. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 28, at 10 a.m. at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown. Pastor Daniel Gault will officiate with interment to follow in Hartford Cemetery, Croton.

Wilma was born June 13, 1929, in Columbus to Floyd and Inetta (Fredrick) Kidner.

Wilma is survived by her children, Jeff (Kathy) Needles, Ann (Kenny Tharp) Needles, Deb (Wayne) Benner, Mike (Susan) Needles, Jim Needles and Lori (Aaron) Swaim; sister, Marylin (George) Lewis; brother, Gary (Susan) Kidner; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leland Needles; son, Ronald; and daughter, Vivian Needles.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Aug. 27, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
