Nathanial ‘Nate’ Edwards
MOUNT VERNON — Nathan was born Jan.
12, 1978, and was taken from us at age 29 on April 24, 2007. He died in an automobile
accident in Columbus. Nathan was born in Dallas, Texas, but spent most of his
youth throughout California. He spent most of his adult life in Ohio. Nate had
a big heart. He was extremely personable and became friends with anyone he met.
He had an amazing sense of humor and was a fun guy to be around. He excelled
at anything he tried and loved working on mechanics and computers.
He is survived by his mother, Kathy; sister, Krystal; daughters, Jasmin (10), Mariah (7) and Summer (6); and son, Sebastian (1 1/2). He also leaves behind his fiancee, Stephanie Rittenhouse, and their unborn child; a special buddy, Blade Rittenhouse; a very close cousin, Patrick; grandparents, Diane and Douglas Edwards; Aunt Laurie and Uncle Thomas; and many other cousins and close friends.
Services for Nathan will be Saturday, May 5, at 2 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. Friends and family are welcome for viewing from 1 to 2 p.m. Following services, a gathering will be held at Quirk Cultural Center, 1201 Grant Ave., Cuyahoga Falls.
A memorial service will be held locally Tuesday, May 8, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Central Church of Christ, 1005 Harcourt Road, Mount Vernon.

Ellen R. Hunter
WALHONDING — Ellen Rebecca Hunter, 83, of Walhonding
died May 3, 2007, at the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 1, 1923, in Millwood to Ronald F. and Ruth (Humbert) Rodehaver. She was a retired school teacher having taught 32 years in the River View School District. She was a member of the Walhonding Church of Christ, Eastern Star and the Delta Kappa Gamma.
She is survived by two daughters, Ruth (Tom) Borden of Warsaw and Becky (Tom) Tomes of Coshocton; a son, Drew (June) Hunter of Coshocton; grandchildren, Matthew Tomes, Danielle (Rusty) Holdsworth, Michelle (Jesse) Cox, Ken (Amy) Hunter and Karrie (Mike) Hunter-Greten, all of Coshocton, Jodi (Trent) Miller of Lancaster, and Eric (Karey) Borden of Mansfield; great-grandchildren, Kelly Kent, Kierten Holdsworth, Blaine, Brett and Brianna Cox, Rachel and Hannah Miller, Alexandria, Hunter, and Carter Borden, Craig and Cassidy Hunter, and Michaela and Ryan Greten; a brother, Ronnie (Linda) Rodehaver of Walhonding; and a sister, Jane Honabarger of Coshocton.
On Nov. 9, 1942, she married Andrew R. Hunter, who died May 6, 1971. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Charlene Turner; and a granddaughter, Kandy Hunter.
Funeral service will be Sunday, May 6, at 1:30 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Ben McKinstry officiating. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery at Warsaw. Visitation is Saturday, May 5, from 4 to 6 p.m. and until service time on Sunday.
