Jonathan Beal Jr.
MARENGO — Jonathan Robert Beal Jr., infant son of Jonathan Beal Sr. and Jessica N. Hecker of Marengo, died shortly after his birth, early Monday morning, April 2, 2007, at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by paternal grandparents, Robert and Sandra Beal of Marengo; paternal grandparents, Tracy Thompson of Mount Gilead and Charles Hecker; several great-grandparents; and five uncles, Michael Beal, Nicholas Beal, Dustin Hecker, Scott Jeffery and Brandon Saum.

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Fulton Cemetery with Pastor Tommy Tucker officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home in Marengo.

Mary E. Coon
WAPAK — Mary E. Coon, 85, of Wapak died Thursday, April 5, 2007, at 5:40 a.m. at Auglazie Acres Nursing Home.

She was born Feb. 14, 1922, in Fredericktown to Glenn and Dee Tyson Taylor. She married Clifton Coon on Nov. 26, 1938, and he preceded her in death Sept. 18, 1985.

Survivors include a son, Glen (Bonnie) Coon of Harrod; daughters, Patricia (Raymond) Shaw of Cridersville and Sandra Webb of Wapak; a sister, June Burgraf of Marion; eight grandchildren, Cindy Martin, Gary Shaw, Pam Roberts, Donnie Shaw, Brian Coon, Kenny Webb, Todd Webb and Elizabeth Noble; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Donald Taylor and Bobby Taylor.

Mrs. Coon was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Moulton and the Eagles Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary, both of Wapak, and the American Legion Auxiliary of Waynesfield. She had been a waitress in years past but enjoyed being a homemaker.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 9, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, April 10, at 1:30 p.m. at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Joy Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens near St. Marys.

Terry ‘Bud’ Sansom
MANSFIELD — Terry L. “Bub” Sansom, 43, of Possum Run Road, Mansfield, died Wednesday evening, April 4, 2007, in his home, following a long illness.

He was born May 28, 1963, in Mansfield, to Virgil L. and Betty L. (Wharton) Sansom, and was graduated from Clear Fork High School in 1981. For 17 years, Terry served as area manager for Denny’s Restaurants.

He is survived by his son, Christopher “Jerry” (Irina) Sansom; daughters, Tara (Rick) Hayden and Kaila Sansom; a grandson, Grant Hayden; a granddaughter, Jadin Sansom; an expected grandson, Mason Terry Sansom; his parents, Virgil and Betty Sansom; his maternal grandfather, F. Wilmer Wharton; brothers, Gary Sansom and Keith Sansom; his sister, Sherry Smith, and treasured nephew Brandon Smith; and numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Joel Warner will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellville Cemetery.
