Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, at the MedCentral Hospital in Mansfield. Arrangements

WILMINGTON, N.C. — Michael “Mike” Paul
Foucht of Wilmington, N.C., died Feb. 5, 2007.
He was born in Newark on April 23, 1978, son of Stephen Craig Foucht and Jean Arnold Foucht of LaGrange, N.C. Mike was employed by U.S. Food Service, graduate of Eastern Wayne High School Class of 1996 in Goldsboro, N.C., graduate of UNCW 2001, outfielder for UNCW Baseball 1997-2000, holder of three UNCW baseball records, assistant coach at Laney High School 2001-02, outfielder for Wilmington Sharks baseball team 1997 and very active in community sports.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Cara Foucht of the home; brother, Craig (Nikki) Foucht of LaGrange, N.C.; nephew, Michael Foucht; grandparents, Phyllis Arnold of Mount Vernon, Ohio, and Charles and Jean Foucht of Newark, Ohio; and godmother, Jane Kirchhoff of Ohio.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel. Interment will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel.

Howard ‘Sonny’ Stone
UTICA — A memorial liturgy for Howard
F. Stone, 71, of Utica, will be held Friday, Feb. 9, at 6 p.m. at Church of the
Nativity Catholic Church, Utica, with the Rev. Stephen A. Metzger as celebrant.
On Tuesday evening, Feb. 6, 2007, Howard F. “Sonny” Stone passed away quietly, with many family members by his side, at Knox Community Hospital, Mount Vernon.
He was born Dec. 2, 1935, in Point Pleasant, W.Va., to the late Russell and Thelma (Sayre) Stone.
Howard leaves behind his wife, Carolyn (McCann) Stone of Utica; sons, Charles (Larissa) Stone of Vacaville, Calif., and John (Susan) Stone of Utica; daughter, Beth Ann (Gary) Pennington of Pataskala; 11 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers, John Stone of Huron and Russell “Corky” Stone of Utica; sister, Carolyn (Larry) Rine of Newark; and many nieces and nephews, all were very special to him.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Williams.
