Keith B. Carver
UTICA — A funeral service for Keith B. Carver, 44, of Utica will be held Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. at Jersey Baptist Church with Pastor John Hays presiding. Burial will follow in Newark Memorial Gardens.

Keith died Dec. 10, 2006, at his residence. He was born July 30, 1962, in Columbus to Jeannine Neuman Carver and the late Oscar “Woody” Carver. Keith was a member of Jersey Baptist Church where he was a Sunday school teacher. He retired from the Newark Fire Department after 19 years of service as a lieutenant firefighter and paramedic.

He is survived by his wife, Lori (Allen) Carver, and son, Matt Carver, both of Utica; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Dave See of Westerville; mother, Jeannine Carver of Johnstown; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Lois Carver, Kevin and Penni Carver, all of Newark, and Jerry Carver of Johnstown; mother and father-in-law, Phil and Linda Allen of Newark; brothers-in-law, Phil and Leigh Cascioli, Joe and Connie Allen, and sister-in-law, Stacia and Eric Fritchie, all of Columbus; several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Tuesday, Dec. 12, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Jersey Baptist Church, 13260 Morse Road, Pataskala.

The Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., P.O. Box 456, Utica, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Stella M. Crawford
MOUNT VERNON — Stella May Crawford, 95, of Mount Vernon, and formerly of Mount Gilead, died on Saturday evening, Dec. 9, 2006, at the Country Club Retirement Campus in Mount Vernon.

She was born in Fredericktown on July 21, 1911, the daughter of the late Thomas “Harvey” and Mamie (Hardenbrook) Frazier. Stella graduated from the Fredericktown High School in 1929. On Dec. 24, 1932, Stella married her husband of over 56 years, Charles “Red” Crawford, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 1989. She attended the Williamsport United Methodist Church.

Stella is survived by a sister, Mildred Herdman of Ashland; and eleven nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Morris Frazier.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Bryn Zion Cemetery, 5520 County Road 240, Mount Gilead, with Pastor Bruce Hartley officiating. Per Stella’s request, calling hours will not be observed. Arrangements were entrusted to the Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Gilead.

Billy ‘Eddie’ DeLong
CENTERBURG — Billy R. “Eddie” DeLong, 70, of Centerburg died early Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, at Woodside Village Care Center in Mount Gilead.

Arrangements will be announced by the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home in Sunbury.
